AWARENESS RAISING: Harassment comes in many forms. Sometimes the victim doesn’t take a stand because they can’t differentiate between “playing” and “bullying.” We teach your child to distinguish between harmless play and harmful harassment, so they know exactly when and how to act in each circumstance.

UNBEATABLE CONFIDENCE: Creating self-esteem and confidence in the child becomes the biggest deterrent to any aggression or intimidation, as they tend to look for “easy targets” – those who will tolerate their abuse. We intend to provide your child with the tools necessary to overcome physical, verbal and psychological harassment.

RESPONSIBILITY: Teaching a child Self Defense is something very delicate and of extreme responsibility, because the child has to be aware of when to use it and its proportionality. The EliteKIDS program is a children’s program that instills great discipline, in which it teaches children precisely when they can and cannot use the techniques they learn. There are 5 “GOLDEN RULES” that are regularly trained so that children never abuse their power and, equally important, do not hesitate to take a stand when approached by potential bullies.

GOLDEN RULES:

1: Identify and recognize the possibility of confrontation and avoid it.
2: In case of physical aggression, defend yourself.
3: If verbally attacked, follow the three steps (talk, count, resolve).
4: Do not use violence, establish control and negotiate.
5: When applying submissions, use minimal force and negotiate.

Why from 6 to 12 years old?

The period between five and nine years is marked by the child’s psychological development. It continues to develop physically slowly and gradually, but above all, they develop and grow socially, emotionally and mentally.

From the age of 10, pre-adolescence begins, the most delicate part where intense physical and psychological changes occur, in which the child begins to give more importance to a group of friends. They become more responsible, demand more respect from people, especially adults. Participation in a group of friends who have common tastes becomes more important, where the model given by friends begins to obscure the model given by parents. Worries begin with the expectation of being accepted by a group. Pre-teens often feel rejected by society, which can trigger psychological problems such as depression or anorexia.

We follow this entire route. With your help and the methodology of the EliteKIDS program, we intend to develop discipline, respect, courage, leadership, loyalty and compassion in children.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY:

We do not criticize the mistake, but rather, we value and praise the correctly executed aspects of the movement, through positive reinforcement. Carefully, we help children reach their full potential, without compromising their evolutionary structure (physical and psychological).

The simple fact that they are all in uniform, in a group, increases interactivity and prohibits any model of discrimination.

As there is no competition, the difference is not created, there is no winner or loser, no one is rejected for inferiority or incapacity, so it makes the child feel as capable as any other in their performance, which does not exist in no more  no other activity!

They are inserted in an environment where mutual respect prevails among all without anyone being put aside respecting the capacities and limitations of each one where everyone grows and learns equally.

They are introduced in games where they learn to defend themselves while playing, the child learns without being afraid, knowing how to identify when something is wrong and act accordingly.
